Vou contratar um mordomo | I’m hiring a butler

- Dar de mamar, mudar fralda e vestir o Afonso. Vê-lo a bolsar e a encher a fralda de pudim e repetir os dois últimos passos;

- Sair de casa com o ovo com um bebé já com mais de 6 kg, com as rodas do carrinho, com a minha mala, com a mala das fraldas, com a mala dos biberons, e com uma tupperware para devolver à minha tia;

- Carregar tudo isto até ao carro, enquanto as malas me iam pressionando o pescoço até quase o arrancarem, e o ovo e carrinho, um em cada mão, me esticavam os braços até parecer um orangotango. (porque não montei o carrinho e o levei assim? Pensei nisso, mas são muitas escadas, ou então dar uma grande volta, se bem que para a próxima…);

- Fazer malabarismos e por tudo no carro. Prender o bebé e partir até casa da mãe;

- Subir com o ovo, mala das fraldas e a minha mala. Dar de comer à gatinha, tratar dos seus cocós e ir acalmando o bebé, que não estava satisfeito;

- Pegar no ovo e malas, sair e ir até casa do meu avô. Dar de mamar na cadeira da cozinha sem almofada (ai, as minhas costas);

- Pegar em tudo novamente e voltar para o carro. Parar junto ao banco, sair com o ovo e mala e entrar. Tratar do que se tem a tratar e voltar para o carro;

- Voltar a casa, porque entretanto o homem ligou a informar que precisava disto e daquilo. Pegar no ovo e na minha mala e subir as escadas todas até à porta do prédio. Bolas! As chaves de casa ficaram na mala das fraldas… Pegar no ovo, voltar ao carro e voltar finalmente a casa;

- Mais uma mamada, aproveitar para lanchar e a caminho novamente. Ir ao equipamento onde trabalho, para finalmente apresentar a criança e rever os meus miúdos. Correr todos os cantos (mas já com o carrinho montado);

- Voltar para o carro. Ainda precisava de comprar feltro, mas foi muita agitação para o bebé. Dirigir para casa dos tios. Tirar o ovo, as malas que esganam o pescoço e entrar;

- Esperar pelo homem, despedir do bebé e ir para a fisioterapia (percebem porque tenho precisado, não?);

Only for when we go out. So someone can carry the car seat, strollers, bags...

It is always an adventure, but when I decide to do everything and anything in one day, it's a masterpiece!

Monday, my afternoon was something like this:

- Breastfeeding, change diaper and dress Afonso. See him spitting up and filling the diaper and repeat the last two steps;

- Leaving home with the car seat with a baby who is over 6 kg with the trolley wheels, with my bag, the diaper bag, the baby bottles bag, and a tupperware to return to my aunt;

- Carry all this to the car, while the bags were pushing my neck almost to pluck, and with the car seat and stroller, one in each hand, stretching out my arms until I looked like an orangutan. (Why not set up the stroller and carry everything in it? I thought about it, but there are many stairs or a long way around, although for the next time...);

- Juggle everything into the car and get to my mother's house;

- Carry the car seat, diaper bag and my bag. Feed the cat, deal with her poops and calm the baby, who was not satisfied;

- Take the car seat and bags, leave and go to my grandfather's house. Breastfeed without a pillow in a kitchen chair (ouch, my back);

- Get everything again and back to the car. Stop by the bank, out with the car seat and bag and go. Dealing with it has to be treated and return to the car;

- Back home, because in the meantime the hubby called to report that he needed this and that. Pick up the car seat and my bag up the stairs and all the way to the door of the building. Crap! The house keys were in the diaper bag... Take the car seat back to the car and finally return home;

- Once breastfeeding and having a snack and we’re on the way again. Go to my workplace to finally introduce my baby and see my kids. Run everywhere (but already with the stroller);

- Back to the car. I still needed to buy felt, but it was a lot of excitement for the baby. Drive to my uncles’ house. Take the car seat, the bags that choke my neck and go;

- Wait for the hubby, bid farewell to the baby and go to physical therapy (You realize why I need it, right?);

- Back to my uncles’ house, dinner, talk and stuff, pick up the car seat and bags and return home.

- Ahhh... Time to rest now! Nop! Awake baby, sometimes crying, sometimes laughing until 2:30!

That's it. I just need said butler for transport to/from the car. Can it be arranged?
